Compliance

Built for India’s calling rules.

The rules a platform can enforce, BlackWolf enforces on every call. What only your business can do is set out below.

This page covers India, where the agent calls today. The UAE’s rules are on Dubai real estate.

Built in

On every call, without exception.

Checked before every dial.

Every number is checked against the suppression list before it is dialled: opt-outs heard on calls, complaints, and any number you add. A listed number is never rung.

Only inside your calling hours.

The agent dials only inside the calling window set for your workspace, in India time unless your workspace is set to another. TRAI’s default window for promotional calls is 10:00 to 21:00, so that is where yours should sit.

An opt-out is acted on the moment it is said.

“Dobara call mat karna” (don’t call again), “ફોન ના કરતા” (don’t phone), “Remove my number”. When a caller says it in English, Hindi or Gujarati, their number goes on the suppression list straight away, automatically.

Stops at no.

When a lead says they are not interested, the follow-up calls stop for that lead. Nobody has to remember to take them off a list.

The call itself answers a complaint.

Transcripts and recordings are kept against each lead, so a complaint can be answered with the call itself.

The rest stays with your business.

DLT registration, a registered telemarketer, declaring AI calls to your operator, the right number series, NCPR scrubbing, a basis for every call and answering complaints. What each one needs.

Opt-outs in English, Hindi and Gujarati

Said once. Acted on at once.

The agent listens for set phrasings like the ones below, in the caller’s own words. The moment one is said, the number goes on the suppression list, whatever happens next on the call.

  • “Dobara call mat karna.”(Do not call again.)
  • “ફોન ના કરતા.”(Do not phone.)
  • “मेरा नंबर हटा दीजिए।”(Remove my number.)
  • “Put me on DND.”

Your part

What only your business can do.

No software can do these for you. We show you what each needs before you go live.

  1. Registration as a principal entity (sender) on a DLT platform, with your telecom operator.

  2. A registered telemarketer placing the calls, linked to you on DLT.

  3. Declaring AI calls to your operator in advance. The 2026 amendment treats calls placed by software, including artificial voice, as A2P calls, and an undeclared A2P call counts as unsolicited commercial communication.

  4. Calling from the number series TRAI designates: 140 for promotional calls; 1600 for service and transactional calls from banking, financial services, insurance and government; 1601 for other service and transactional calls, such as utilities, logistics and courier.

  5. Scrubbing your calling list against the national NCPR register, through your DLT access.

  6. A basis for every call: a preference that allows it, or consent. Under the 2026 amendment an enquiry supports inferred consent for seven days, and an application for three months.

Answering complaints is yours too. When a complaint about a call reaches your operator, the call’s transcript, its recording and the lead’s do-not-call status are in your dashboard to answer it with. The record of consent is yours to keep.

Regulation update

TRAI’s 2026 amendment, in one paragraph.

On 18 September 2026 TRAI notified the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2026. Calls placed by software, including artificial voice, are now “A2P calls”, and the business placing them must declare them and the numbers they come from to its operator in advance. An enquiry made in writing or online supports calls for seven days. The rules come into force in stages after they are published in the Gazette.

Data protection

DPDP Act 2023: your leads, processed on your behalf.

Each client’s leads, calls and recordings are kept apart and used only to do the work you asked for. Recordings are private and played through links that expire. When a caller asks what you hold, or to be forgotten, the record is there to answer.

How data is kept

Questions, answered.

Does BlackWolf scrub numbers against the national DND register?

Not itself. BlackWolf checks its own suppression list before every dial: opt-outs heard on calls, complaints and numbers you add. Scrubbing against the national NCPR register runs through your DLT access, as your operator requires.

Is “not interested” treated as an opt-out?

No. “Not interested” ends the chase and the lead stays in your pipeline. “Stop calling me” puts the number on the suppression list and it is never dialled again. The two are kept apart on purpose, in both directions.

Is a call from the agent an A2P call?

Yes. TRAI’s 2026 amendment defines an A2P call as one placed by software without direct human dialling, including calls made with artificial voice. Every call the agent places fits that definition. Once that part of the amendment is in force, your business declares these calls, and the numbers they come from, to your operator in advance.

Who is responsible for the data under the DPDP Act?

You are the data fiduciary for your leads; BlackWolf processes them on your behalf, keeps each client’s data apart, and gives you the call record to answer a request or a complaint.
