Who we are
BlackWolf Labs (“BlackWolf”, “we”) runs this website, blackwolflabs.in. For personal data collected through this website, we decide why and how it is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act).
Two different roles
This notice covers the website and enquiries sent through it. It does not cover calls our AI agents make for our clients. On those calls, the client decides who is called and why, and we process the call on the client’s behalf. The client is the Data Fiduciary for that data and we are its Data Processor. If one of our agents called you, see below.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
- Your name, work email address and phone number.
- Your company’s name and industry, what you want an agent to do, roughly how many calls you expect, and the languages you need.
- Anything you write in the message field.
- The consent you gave on the form, the wording you agreed to, when you agreed, and the page you sent it from.
Checks that protect the form
- When you send it, your IP address, which we use to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one address, so the form cannot be used to flood us. Our server also passes it to Cloudflare with the Turnstile check described next.
- While you fill it in, signals from your browser and device, checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a person from an automated script. Cloudflare receives these with your IP address and processes them under its own privacy policy.
When you browse
- Like any website, each page you open sends your IP address and your browser’s details to the company that hosts it, Hostinger.
- The website sets two small cookies of its own, and neither says who you are: one notes which version of the home page suits where you are, until you close your browser, and one keeps a region you choose at the foot of a page (see below). In your own browser’s storage it keeps an enquiry you have started but not sent, until you send it or close the tab, and a note that your browser already has the site’s fonts for Indian and Arabic scripts. That stays on your device.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry by email, phone or WhatsApp, and to talk with you about whether an agent would suit your business.
- To call you about it. Your enquiry is saved in our dashboard as a lead, and our own AI voice agent may make these calls. Like every call on our platform, they are recorded and transcribed. If a call goes unanswered, we may call again, later the same day or on later days, at different times of day. You can ask us to stop at any time, as set out below.
- To keep a record that you asked us to contact you.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for anything you did not give it to us for.
The basis we rely on
We use enquiry data because you consent to it on the last step of the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it: tell our agent on a call not to call you again, reply to any email from us, or write to us through the enquiry form, using its last question, “Anything else we should know?”, to say so. Withdrawal stops further use; it does not undo use that happened before.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job listed, under contract with us:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website, so it receives the IP address and browser details sent with every page you open. It also provides the virtual server that handles our agent’s calls.
- Cloudflare, which runs the Turnstile check on the enquiry form.
- Railway, which hosts our application and database, where your enquiry is saved.
- Resend, which delivers each enquiry, with everything you entered, to our team’s inbox.
- NXC, which sends WhatsApp messages from our platform through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, if we message you there.
- VoiceLink, our Indian telephony provider, which connects our calls and records them.
- Google (Gemini), whose models understand speech on our calls and produce the agent’s voice.
- Supabase, which stores call recordings privately.
Some of this processing happens outside India. These are the places we have confirmed:
- Our application and database, where your enquiry is saved: Singapore.
- The server that handles our agent’s calls: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The other providers above process data in their own locations, which may also be outside India. How we protect data, and where the service runs, is on our security page.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data while we are in conversation with you, and afterwards only as long as we need it to show that you asked us to contact you or as a law requires. Then we erase it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us:
- for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for and no law requires us to keep it;
- to stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
- to register someone you nominate, who can use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
To do any of this, or to complain about how we have handled your data, write to us through the enquiry form, using its last question, “Anything else we should know?”, and say what you are asking for. The form is built for business enquiries, so answer its other questions as best you can. Like any enquiry, what you send is saved in our dashboard, and we may phone you about it. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
If one of our agents called you
Our agents call on behalf of the businesses that use BlackWolf. The business that called you is responsible for the call and for why you were called. To stop its calls, say so on the call, for example “Remove my number”, “Dobara call mat karna” (don’t call again) or “ફોન ના કરતા” (don’t phone). The moment it is said, your number goes on that business’s suppression list, which is checked before every call its agents make. To see or erase what that business holds about you, ask the business. If you write to us instead, we will pass your request to the business and tell you we have.
If you talk to a demo agent
On the demo page you can talk to one of our agents from your browser. While the call is on, your microphone’s audio goes to Google’s Gemini, which turns it into text and answers in speech. After each exchange our server sends its text to Gemini again, to fill in the lead card on your screen. That is also how it works on a client’s calls. We do not record the demo call and do not keep its transcript or its lead card: they exist only on your screen and are gone when you leave the page. We keep the address your browser connected from for a day, to limit how many demo calls can be made from it. Please do not say anything on a demo call that you would not want a stranger to hear.
Which home page you see
The home page comes in three versions: for India, for the UAE, and for everyone else. When you first open it, we look up the country of your IP address, or read your browser’s time zone, to show you the right one. This check keeps no record of either: a cookie that ends with your browser session holds only the version it chose, so the next page does not check again. If you choose a region at the foot of any page, a cookie remembers your choice for a year. This site includes IP2Location LITE data available from https://lite.ip2location.com.
Children
This website and our service are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, write to us through the enquiry form, using its last question, “Anything else we should know?”, and we will erase it.
How we protect it
The enquiry form sends your answers to us only over HTTPS, each client’s data is kept apart from every other client’s, and recordings are stored privately and played only through links that expire. The details are on our security page.
